Finally we’re here for the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic concert at Weiwuying, Kaohsiung, and more!
Having spent a few hours visiting the Chimei Museum (the story of which is truly humbling and amazing), some of us had a quick catch-up with Luthier Tingwei Chang at her workshop. Then a surprise 18th birthday party for one of us, and we’re at Weiwuying again for Hilary Hahn, Jaap and New York Phil. What a fulfilling day!
The third and last day began with the Masterclass by Prof Chang Yi-shin. After a quick but super delicious lunch, we’re at Weiwuying once again for Maestro Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi’s concert with NTSO under the baton of Lan Shui. Then, off we went to the airport for home. Grateful for this fruitful weekend in Kaohsiung.
